Welcome to Fattorie di Montechiaro
Only 15 minutes from the highway Bologna-Firenze, Fattorie di Montechiaro with its rich heritage it’s surrounded by four hectares of vineyards and a beautiful orchard.
The main building where the restaurant and lobby are has medieval influence and it’s dated around ‘400 AC while the majority of the rooms are in a recently refurbished barn overlooking the ancient vineyard.
During your stay in Montechiaro you can enjoy a glass of our locally produced natural wine paired with fresh cheese from the fold 2minutes from us, while admiring the famous charming rolling hills of Bologna.
Rooms
Eleven rooms split between twio buildings. Each one with different shapes, unique design and breathtaking views. We offer double and triple rooms plus a large suite. All rooms have large bathrooms, private entrance, independent heating and generous wardrobes. A place created for those seeking a peaceful atmosphere between nature, good food, design and beauty.
Kitchen
Our cuisine is based on the knowledge of the Mediterranean tradition, to enrich itself with perfumes, techniques and suggestions coming from all Italian regions and perhaps around the world. The A la Carte menu changes often and it follows the seasons and what’s available at times. Locally produced cheese, homemade chutney and freshly made pasta will never be off our menu.
